Sukma 2022: Nur Afrina clinches 7th gold for Selangor

SHAH ALAM, Sept 19 — Selangor’s Nur Afrina Batrisyia Mohamad Rizal yesterday won the gold medal in the 20th Malaysia Games (Sukma) athletics in the women’s 200m final.

The 18-year-old athlete, who hails from Kuala Langat, finished first with a time of 24.83s, while Sabah’s Nur Aishah Rofina Aling took silver with a time of 25.14s and third place went to Pahang’s K.M. Darshini with a time of 25.74s.

As of yesterday, Selangor has won 17 silver medals and nine bronze.

The state aims to bring home 40 gold, 40 silver and 40 bronze in Sukma 2022.
