KLANG, Dec 10 — The Selangor Digital Entrepreneur Roadshow 2022, organised by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec), addresses the smart economy aspect, which is one of the four key agendas of the Smart Selangor initiative.
State executive councillor for investment Dato’ Teng Chang Khim said that the state government aspires to become a smart and sustainable state in the Asean region by 2025.
“The roadshow programme aids Selangor in achieving its goal of becoming a smart state given that digitalisation is a need and Sidec as the organiser helps in bring the transformation to a higher and more competitive level.
“Entrepreneurs that take part in this programme are given the knowledge and abilities they need to meet the challenges of Covid-19, ensuring that business is more productive and keeps improving,” he said in his speech during the launch of the fifth series of the Selangor Digital Entrepreneur Roadshow 2022, here today.
Also present was Sidec chief executive officer Yong Kai Ping.
The fifth and final series in Klang brings partners from industry players such as Shopee, Lazada, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Hijrah Selangor, Epic Unicorn, TikTok Shop, Grab and Sprii Commerce.
A total of 750 participants had taken part in the previous four series of the programme in Gombak, Hulu Selangor, Petaling and Kuala Selangor.
