Users need to update Sehat 2.0 on SELangkah app — Exco

By Azian Aziz

SHAH ALAM, Dec 20 — Residents of Selangor need to update the Selangor Mental Health (Sehat) 2.0 function in their SELangkah app, said state executive councillor of public health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud.

She said this is necessary as the app itself had been updated with several new additions.

“The updates include the addition of mental health screening tests, 60 Sehat psychoeducational videos, four Sehat modules and usage display features.

“So download the SELangkah app or update Sehat on your smartphone immediately,” Dr Siti Mariah said in a Facebook post yesterday.

Members of the public seeking advice or requiring someone to talk to can contact Sehat counselors at 1 700-82-7536, 1 700-82-7537, or on SELangkah.

On August 30, the state government launched Sehat with a RM500,000 allocation to deal with mental health issues that have become increasingly concerning since the start of the Covic-19 pandemic.

The programme enables users to identify their mental health levels, via an initial self-conducted screening of the ‘stress scale’ and ‘risk check’.
