Red Giants eye South American players for new M-League season

SHAH ALAM, Jan 19 — Selangor FC is considering signing several players from South America to strengthen their side ahead of this season’s Malaysia League (M-League).

InsyaAllah, there will be additional new faces soon. Who, I can reveal yet, we need to wait for the official announcement.

“We are considering players from South America,” Selangor FC chief operating officer Aladdin Mostafa told reporters after the ceremony to introduce the Selangor FC esports team at the Selangor FC Training Centre, earlier today.

He said so far, no more new local players will be joining the team.

Previously, Selangor FC, under the guidance of coach Tan Cheng Hoe, introduced four new players for this season, namely Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee, V. Ruventhiran, Mohamad Faisal Abdul Halim and the latest being Jordan midfielder Noor Al-Rawabdeh, who also happens to be their first foreign signing.

Aladdin said they are still working on arranging several friendlies in Thailand in preparation for this season’s M-League competition.

“We may have friendlies with one or two teams from Thailand’s main league. We will announce soon,” he said.
