MPK invites tech industry entrepreneurs to participate in management of smart city plan

SHAH ALAM, Feb 9 — The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) invites all companies, technology industry players or business organisations to participate in the MPK Smart City Action Plan 2030 engagement session.

The local authority said the preparation of the plan in collaboration with the Federal Town and Country Planning Department (PLANMalaysia) is now in the final process.

“This engagement session is held to understand the smart technology available and MPK would like to further explore it to see if it can be considered as part of the solution in the MPK Smart City Action Plan 2030.

“Hence, we welcome all companies, technology industry operators or any business organisation including academicians who provide smart solutions to participate in this session,” it said on Facebook.

According to MPK, the action plan will be a reference and guide for government agencies in planning and implementing development towards achieving the vision of Klang Smart City by 2030.

“This matter is important to provide insight towards better smart city planning to achieve the vision of the MPK Smart City Action Plan by 2030,” it said.
