Infrasel repairs drainage in Sungai Buloh following social media complaints

SHAH ALAM, March 25 — Infrasel Sdn Bhd has undertaken repair works to water drainage systems other related works at Jalan Persimpangan Jalan Welfare dan Industri 9 in Sungai Buloh on Tuesday (March 21).

The state road maintenance company carried out the repair works in the Petaling district, after receiving a complaint on its official Twitter on the same day.

“Continue filing complaints by uploading a report using the hashtags #infrasel #namajalan #daerah, in the event of road damages,” it said on Twitter.

On January 16, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said RM50 million will be allocated for road paving projects, involving the maintenance and widening of roads under state management.

He encouraged the public to report broken roads in their communities on Twitter, adding the process of reporting damaged roads in Selangor has been simplified with complaints on the relevant platform, before being filtered and checked automatically.

Prior to this, Previously, state executive councillor for infrastructure Izham Hashim stated that large-scale road paving work throughout Selangor will be carried out starting this month for users’ convenience.
