Air Selangor: Water supply fully restored in Klang, Shah Alam, and Kuala Selangor

SHAH ALAM, May 25 — Water supply in areas in Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Selangor regions that were affected following the recent emergency repair works due to a pipe burst incident at Jalan Bukit Cerakah in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor, has fully recovered at 9am, says Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).

“Air Selangor would like to thank consumers for their patience and cooperation during this unscheduled water supply disruption period,” said the state agency in a Facebook post this morning.

On Monday, 99 areas in Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Selangor were hit by an unscheduled water cut following a pipe burst at Jalan Bukit Cerakah in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor.

The repair works due to the pipe burst incident was completed at 3am the following day and the water supply was then distributed in stages to the consumers’ premises.
