Dr Fauziah selected for ‘Women’s Boat to Gaza’ mission

SHAH ALAM, AUG 10: Rose2Rose Advisor, Dr Fauziah Mohd Hasan, has been selected to represent Malaysia for the ‘Women’s Boat to Gaza’ (WBG) humanitarian mission under the Freedom Flotilla Coalition initiative this September.
Dr Fauziah, who is also the 2014 International Palestine Woman Personage, is scheduled to sail from Barcelona, Spain on September 14 and expected to arrive in Gaza on October 1, 2016 onboard the vessel Amal Hope, together with 20 humanitarian activists from several countries.
According to MyCARE Chairman Prof. Madya Dr Hafidzi Mohd Noor, other selected activists include 1976 Nobel Laureate Mairead Maguire from Ireland, and New Zealand Green Party’s Member of Parliament Marama Davidson.
Also participating in the mission are American director and scriptwriter Naomi Wallace, athlete and academician Gerd Von Der Lippe from Norway, and athlete Cigdem Topuoglo from Turkey.
“The selection of Dr Fauziah indirectly represents the Southeast Asia region in particular and Muslim countries in general, in an effort to stop Israel’s tyranny over Gaza.

“It is also a sign of solidarity with the women of Palestine who are fighting against this tyranny,” he was quoted from http://ikram.org.my website.
For Dr Fauziah, who is also a member of the MyCARE Board of Trustees, her selection as part of the mission is to bring hope to all peoples, regardless of religion and race, in an effort to free Palestine from oppression.
With preparations for the program running smoothly, she hopes the mission will accomplish its agenda in putting an end to the Israel regime’s blockade against the people of Palestine.
