MB: Do not ignore principle of social justice

SHAH ALAM, JAN 16: Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali reminded public servants not to ignore the principle of social justice in State Government’s development agenda.
He said, the principle is a benchmark to the Key Performance Indicators-KPI in building an equal society in Selangor.
He said, the state’s wealth means nothing if it’s not distributed equally among the citizens.

“All the technological and industrial progress are useless if they only benefit a certain few.
“Don’t just focus on big cities like Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya but emphasize must also be given on rural areas such as Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor,” he said.
He said that in the presence of over 2,000 civil servants at the Government Department Monthly Assembly Ceremony at the Dewan Jubli in Bangunan Kerajaan Negeri today.
Hosted by the Selangor State Secretary’s Office, the ceremony was also attended by the State Secretary, Dato’ Amin Ahmad Ahya.
Mohamed Azmin vowed to always uphold the integrity of Selangor’s civil servants and jointly fight corruption and power abuse with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
“I have unwavering confidence on Selangor’s civil servants. However, every room for improvement must be addressed and not ignored in order to give the best quality of service to the public,” he said.
