SHAH ALAM, MAR 3: A RM350 award awaits people who provide information on illegal waste disposal in Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) area.
Its Deputy Mayor, Dato’ Juhari Ahmad said informers just need to come to the local authority’s office to fill-up a form together with the evidence to assist with further investigation.
“This effort is to eradicate this practice which always invites public complaints in several areas under MPS jurisdiction.
“A RM350 reward will be given to the informer who manage to detect this activiti,” he said.
He said, upon receiving the information, MPS will investigate and the case will be completed within seven days based on complete, accurate and genuine information.
“The reward will be given until the case in the area is completed, the offender is caught and the fine has been paid,” he said.
