SHAH ALAM, JUL 28: Selangor’s success story should be a sensitive issue to certain people, said Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
He said, however it was not well accepted by other states’ administrations including Johore and Perak.
“I went to Johor, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin (Johor Menteri Besar) became frantic, I went to Perak, Datuk Seri Zambry Kadir was the same.
“Why panic, I did not mention his name, why must he panic.
“I only recounted Selangor’s success story so that the people of Perak can see how advance we are. What’s the problem with that?” he said to reporters last night.
He said that in response in Zambry’s statement that his speech content in Kuala Kangsar recently was unethical and disrespectful of Perak Government.
Last July 22, Mohamed Azmin led the Program Jelajah Aidilfitri to Perak and Pahang.
In his speech, he mentioned Umno-BN’s calculations that oppositions are not good administrators can cease.
“The idea is no more valid as we have proven otherwise. We now have success stories in Selangor and Penang,” he said.
