18 Selangor district health offices provide Covid-19 health screening

KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 — A total of 18 district health offices (PKD) and government clinics (KK) in Selangor are providing health screening for the Covid-19 infection.

Its Menteri Besat Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said among the PKD involved include those in Kuala Selangor, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Klang, Petaling, Gombak, Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang.

“Meanwhile, for the KKs, health screenings will be conducted in Bestari Jaya, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Jenjarom, Bandar Botanik, Kelana Jaya, Sungai Buloh, Serendah, Simpang Lima and Salak.

“All individuals with early symptoms or individuals who had close contact with those who were tested positive for Covid-19 are encouraged to get themselves screened,” he said in a Facebook post.

Amirudin said the clinics would be operating from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and the PKDs would manage the delivery of the samples taken to the National Public Health Council.

Selangor also provides eight hospitals for health screening of individuals suspected of Covid-19.

-Hospital Serdang
-Hospital Sungai Buloh
-Hopsital Shah Alam
-Hospital Kajang
-Hospital Banting
