Only one Covid-19 case registered in Selangor

SHAH ALAM, April 23 — Selangor has registered only one confirmed Covid-19 case as of noon yesterday as the state saw the lowest number of daily cases registered.

On Tuesday, the state recorded 11 new cases, two on Monday and three on Sunday.

According to the infographic shared by the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) on Twitter yesterday, the total tally in the state is now at 1,357 out of the total 5,532 cases recorded nationwide.

“Lowest new cases (Covid-19) registered. Thumbs up to Selangor. This clearly shows that the MCO (movement control order) is efficient. Continue to observe the MCO as the virus has yet to be contained,” the task force said.

Yesterday, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah 103 Covid-19 recoveries were recorded, bringing the total tally to 3,452, or a 62.4 recovery rate.

The number of new positive Covid-19 cases was 50, and there are 1,987 total active cases.
