SHAH ALAM, July 14 — The Selangor government’s decision to continue with the e-kitchen initiative would help many entrepreneurs in their business operations.
A Selangor Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) representative said the programme, which was introduced in April, brought high profits despite being marketed only via digital platforms.
“We welcome the announcement made by the Menteri Besar yesterday to continue with the initiative.
“The programme has helped many entrepreneurs and we are confident that this platform would be able to help them expand their businesses. Further details on the e-kitchen will be announced soon,” the spokesperson said when contacted by SelangorKini today.
It was also said that several participants that had taken part in the e-kitchen had suggested for the programme to be continued as it benefits both the businesses and consumers.
Yesterday, Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari had announced the continuation of the e-kitchen initiative through Selangor Platform (Plats) during the tabling of the Selangor economic recovery plan at the State Legislative Assembly sitting.
He said the programme aims the participation of 1,000 more entrepreneurs with a total projected sales of RM12 million.
The initiative will also be expanded to the retail market, restaurants, pharmacy as well as to market products made by state entrepreneurs.
