Subang Jaya Career Fair offers 1,383 vacancies

SHAH ALAM, Dec 17 — The Subang Jaya Career Fair held virtually on December 8 to 10, offered 1,383 job vacancies.

Its programme coordinator Saliza Abdullah said as of December 15, a total of 800 individuals had applied for the jobs.

“This career fair involves 61 employers from multiple sectors. Five companies also offer employment to Persons with Disabilities (OKU).

“We urge the public to grab these (job) opportunities which are (still) open until Saturday, They can register using the Google Forms at https://rb.gy/j9otkm,” she said to SelangorKini today.

Saliza added that information on the job vacancies and the employers are still posted on Facebook page of the programme main sponsor — BG Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd.

“Job seekers could watch the recordings on the career fair at any time or contact the employers. An application can also be made at the MyFutureJobs portal which is under the Social Security Organisation (Socso).

The career fair is an initiative of the Subang Jaya constituent with the cooperation of several parties to address the issue of unemployment and assist individuals who lost their jobs to regain a source of income.
