DBKL parks closed for public safety

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 – Parks under Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) are closed from today until a date to be determined.

In a statement posted on Facebook, it said it is in relation to the movement control order (MOC) from today till January 26.

The parks include Taman Botani Perdana, Taman Awam Bukit Kiara, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Taman Tasik Manjalara and Taman Tasik Metropolitan Kepong.

Meanwhile, DBKL also stated that during the MCO, its payment counter operating hours – main and nine branches – as well as drive-through at Menara DBKL 1 will be open from 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.

It said that the central licence counter at its licensing and business development department will be open from 9am – 3pm but limited to 100 customers per day.

“Members of the public are encouraged to make online payment,” it said.
