Free Covid-19 community testing to continue in Klang, Petaling Jaya

SHAH ALAM, Feb 17 — The free Covid-19 community screening series will be held in Klang tomorrow, followed by Petaling Jaya on Sunday, says the Selangor Covid-19 Special Task Force Operation (STFO).

Its community affairs administrative officer Dr Nurul Solihin Nurul Hasnan said the series of community testing is carried out in the state due to the high number of Covid-19 cases reported in Selangor, with many of its districts still categorised as a red zone.

“Residents living in nearby areas where the screening is held and those that are of high risk are encouraged to take part in the initiative.

“Further information on the locations of the upcoming series will be updated on the Selcare Clinic Facebook page and the people are urged to register via screening.selangkah.my to ensure a smooth process,” he said when met by SelangorKini today.

Dr Nurul Solihin said the screening operation tomorrow will be carried out at the Pandamaran Jaya multipurpose hall in Port Klang from 9am to 4pm.

This will be followed by another programme at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Melati hall in Section 7 on Saturday and at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) half in Kampung Lindungan PJS 6 on Sunday.

“We expect about 500 to 1,000 people will be screened at each of the said locations,” he added.
