SHAH ALAM, Feb 5 — The Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) has deferred operations requiring face-to-face meetings with the public until February 18 following the movement control order (MCO).

However, the agency will continue to conduct face-to-face operations for Baitulmal services through scheduled appointments.

It added that operations at the Pusat Perlindungan Wanita Baitul Ehsan, Pusat Pemurnian Akidah Baitul Iman and Pusat Pemulihan Baitul Islah will be running as usual.

“For Baitulmal services, the public can schedule appointments via: https://www.picktime.com/baitulmalmais.

“Among the services available through the application are will, hibah, inheritance, trust, fidyah, kaffarah, charity, non-syariah compliant monies, debtors monies, unclaimed monies, luqatah properties and muallaf registrations,” it said in a statement.

Mais added that members can deal directly with the agency through various online services available on its website www.mais.gov.my.

It said the services include e-wasiat applications, e-Complaints, real estate catalogues, charity contribution, premises or baitulmal land payment, real estate rental, utility payments for premises and inheritance claims payment.

“Also available are Selangor wakaf share contribution, contribution for orphans, delivery of non-syariah compliant monies and delivery of debtors monies,” it said.
