GM Klang committed to providing safe, comfortable shopping environment

KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 — GM Klang is committed to providing a safe and comfortable shopping environment for its visitors, in line with the country’s efforts in combating the spread of Covid-19.

Its Advertising and Promotion manager Norsuhaida Othman said as the wholesale shopping centre is expecting an increase in visitors ahead of the festive season, it would ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) to contain the pandemic were adhered to.

She said GM Klang was not only a favourite shopping destination for Hari Raya but also a choice for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) traders and entrepreneurs to increase sales stock.

“Traders and SME entrepreneurs are taking this opportunity to revive their business activities affected by the pandemic before this and have started adding stock with various options available in GM Klang to be traded either in bazaars, markets or online.

“We also find that many have been able to increase their stock purchases, this may be due to the government incentives received,” she said in a statement yesterday.

She was optimistic that this was a positive sign that the economic sector is on the road to recovery.
