HULU SELANGOR, April 10 — The Bandar Bukit Beruntung and Bandar Bukit Sentosa township here will be redeveloped into a more conducive and livable location, says Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
He said the effort includes the promotion of business activities through the opening of Tesco distribution centre, Perodua, Police Training Centre (Pulapol) and many more.
“The state government has also identified a 1,000 acres area for the construction of residential, commercial and industrial centres.
“This long-term plan will make Bandar Bukit Beruntung and Bandar Hulu Selangor be on par with other cities,” he said after handing over the keys to buyers of the first phase of Rumah SelangorKu priced at RM250,000 per unit in Taman Bunga Raya, here today.
A total of 419 units of houses are being built on the 26.8 acres area, with 109 units of the first phase completed.
On February 3 last year, Amirudin said the Hulu Selangor district would be developed as the state’s northern development gateway by 2035.
The state government will ensure that the development plan in Hulu Selangor takes into account sustainable and environmentally friendly land use.
