Free Covid-19 screening in Dusun Tua, Teratai today

SHAH ALAM, May 10 — Residents living in Dusun Tua and Teratai as well as its nearby areas are urged to participate in the free Covid-19 community screening, which runs from 9am to 4pm today.

The Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) said the screening will be held at the Titiwangsa Community Hall, Hulu Langat, and the Taman Muda Community Hall.

“Registration can be made through the SELangkah app or visit screening.selangkah.my,” said the task force on a Facebook post.

The Selangor government is conducting a monitoring programme from May 8 to June 10 to trace active Covid-19 cases across the state.

The programme had begun with the free screenings in Kajang and Semenyih on Saturday and in Sungai Ramal and Balakong yesterday, with the cost fully borne by the state government.

The state government has allocated a total of RM6 million for the free Covid-19 community testing initiative.

The programme targets the involvement of 50,000 residents covering high-density areas and low-income groups.
