SHAH ALAM, June 18 — The registration to signup for a RM20 transportation rebate when using Grab’s e-hailing service to 34 vaccination centres (PPV) in Selangor will open this Sunday (June 20).
Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated), or MBI, in a statement today said the transport rebate of RM10 for a one-way trip or RM20 for a round trip, is valid for rides made between July 1 and September 30.
“Registration can be made via Selangor Platform (Plats) website at www.platselangor.com.
“The public can also communicate via email at [email protected] to get further information on this initiative,” the statement said.
MBI said the initiative is part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme that aims to benefit the people of Selangor aged 50-years-old and above who has Grab mobile application.
On June 9, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced a RM20 transportation rebate for those using Grab’s e-hailing service to go to vaccination centres beginning July 1.
The RM1 million initiative under the Kita Selangor Package 2.0 will benefit almost 50,000 people in the state.
Amirudin had announced the Kita Selangor Package 2.0 with a total allocation of RM551.56 million to assist those affected by the enforced full movement control order (MCO).
Themed ‘Moving Together towards Success’ (Bersama-sama Menuju Kejayaan), the package contained three strategies and 25 programmes that will benefit at least 1.6 million people in the state including B40 low-income group, students, small entrepreneurs, farmers and tourism operators.
