SHAH ALAM, Sept 15 — The Selangor Vaccination Programme’s Mobile initiative (Selvax Mobile) will be continued following a positive response from the people, says Menteri Besar.

Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said among those who received benefits were senior citizens, those who had not been vaccinated because they did not have transportation and foreigners.

“The state government is carrying out the Selvax Mobile initiative throughout this week. A total of 50,000 vaccine doses are allocated for this programme.

“Alhamdulillah (praise be to god), the responses are very encouraging and we will continue the programme,” he said on Facebook, today.

Selvax Mobile which started on September 13 had provided some 50,000 vaccine doses to ensure that no one is left out from getting their vaccination.

The initiative involving 11 state constituencies operates from 9am to 5pm daily.

It will be going on rounds for a week at Bandar Baru Klang, Batu Tiga, Tanjung Sepat, Hulu Bernam, Gombak Setia, Bukit Antarabangsa, Batang Kali, Banting, Teratai, Dengkil and Kampung Tunku.
