One-and-a-half-month bonus for civil servants — MB

SHAH ALAM, Nov 26 — Selangor announces a one and a half-month salary incentive for its civil servants disbursed in stages.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the one-off cash aid is to show appreciation to the civil servants who have been showing commitment and working tirelessly to ensure the state government’s services remain efficient and effective.

He said the first phase of the financial aid for the year 2021, inclusive of a half-month salary incentive or a minimum of RM1,000, was channelled in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration in May.

“The second (phase) of the special financial aid of one-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000 will be disbursed on December 29,” said Amirudin during the closing of his tabling of the 2022 Selangor Budget at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly here, today.

He said the initiative would cost the state a total of RM37.5 million.

On April 23, Amirudin had announced the special financial assistance for state civil servants in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri with an estimated allocation of RM22.675 million.
