SHAH ALAM, Jan 20 — Nearly 60,000 individuals have received their booster shots under the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax) Booster since its launch in December last year.

Selgate Healthcare Sdn Bhd chief financial officer Muhammad Azfizam Hamzah said several thousand individuals have been administered with the extra jab daily at 17 Selcare Clinics including in Kuala Lumpur.

He said the programme received good responses from the public as the pre-registration slot for this month has been fully taken up while February’s slot is almost full.

“Many people are looking for the Sinovac vaccine and several constituencies also carried out their programmes to facilitate the people to get the booster dose,” he said when contacted by SelangorKini yesterday.

The Selvax Booster was launched on December 8 last year, allocating a total of 157,000 doses for individuals aged 18 and above who have completed their two doses of vaccines.

The list of participated Selcare Clinics could be found via selcareclinic.com/our-clinics or through the SELangkah mobile app.
