SHAH ALAM, Jan 15 — The overflow at five dams in Selangor has occurred due to the exceeding limit of its reservoir, says the Selangor Water Management Authority (Luas).
However, Luas said the situation is under control, although the levels of the dams have reached 100 per cent.
“The reserve water is sufficient for three months of water supply in Selangor should the state experience drought season.
“Five dams have reached their full reserve limit, and it is under control,” said Luas on Facebook, yesterday.
In an infographic shared with the post, the five dams are Sungai Tinggi in Hulu Selangor, Tasik Subang (Petaling), Sungai Selangor (Hulu Selangor), Sungai Langat and Semenyih in Hulu Langat.
