Laptops, tablets assistance for Selangor farmers under Agro Prihatin programme

SHAH ALAM, Feb 22 — The state government is offering equipment assistance via the Agro Prihatin programme to farmers earning RM2,000 or less a month.

The initiative covers 100 laptops and 50 tablets and can be applied for online starting yesterday until February 28, said state executive councillor for farming Izham Hashim.

He said applicants must be actively involved in farming, fishing, livestock breeding, and the agro-based industry, asides from being registered under state agencies.

“They must also have family members who are undergoing home-based teaching and learning (PdPR) sessions this year,” Izham said in a Facebook post.

He added the offer is only for residents of Selangor who have resided in the state for over 10 years.
