SHAH ALAM, March 22 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has advised Selangor residents who have yet to receive their Covid-19 vaccine booster doses to do so before April 1.

His advice comes over a week before the national transition to the endemic phase, which falls on April 1.

“Doing so will offer better protection for yourself and the family,” Amirudin said in a Facebook post earlier today, where he also shared a poster.

The Menteri Besar reminded Sinovac recipients and senior citizens to complete their booster dose in order to retain their fully-vaccinated status.

The vaccine for children can be taken directly by referring to covid-19.moh.gov.my for vaccination centre locations in Selangor.

Yesterday approximately 15,507,221 adult individuals or 65.9 per cent of the group’s population nationwide have since received Covid-19 booster doses.

For teenagers aged 12 to 17, 2,844,722 individuals or 91.4 per cent have received their booster doses.

Children aged five to 11 account for 1,267,491 individuals or 35.7 per cent of the group’s population who have received their first Covid-19 vaccine dose via the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids)
