LONDON, July 5 — Fuel prices in the United Kingdom continued rising to record highs, according to Jordan news agency (Petra).
The Independent reported on Monday that petrol prices reached an all-time high of 191.53 pence per litre, while diesel recorded a shy decrease from its record high of 199.03 pence.
It noted that the price increase is driving up the fastest inflation rates in the UK.
