GOMBAK, July 31 — The second phase of the Selangor Penyayang roadshow will be continued to four state districts beginning in August, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said the programme will be held in Klang, Sabak Bernam, Sepang and Hulu Selangor, focusing on the First Selangor Plan (RS-1) which was tabled on Wednesday (July 27).

“Other than introducing the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP) initiative, we will also provide more information on the four main principles in the RS-1 namely economic, social, sustainability and governance,” he said at the Selangor Penyayang roadshow at Padang Awam Batu Caves, here today.

On Wednesday, Amirudin tabled the RS-1, which is expected to be Selangor’s development framework in five years and has a total cost of RM212.44 billion.

He said that RM92.44 billion had been set aside for state-level development initiatives, including the introduction of a number of incentives to ensure the welfare of the people.

Amirudin said the state government will allocate RM7.16 billion of funds while over RM80 billion will be covered by the state government subsidiaries and private parties.
