Selangor PKR appoints new MPN members for 2022 – 2025 session

SHAH ALAM, Sept 22 — The Selangor PKR State Leadership Council (MPN) announced the appointment of its members for the 2022 – 2025 session earlier today, said its secretary Mohd Khairuddin Othman.

He said the MPN meeting headed by chairman Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari obtained consent from PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in accordance to Motion 27.5 of the party constitution.

“Selangor PKR also reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen Pakatan Harapan alongside the other component parties.

“With the appointment of the MPN members, Selangor PKR is also ready to enter the upcoming 15th general election. As such, all branch members throughout the state are instructed to enter the last phase of preparing the election machinery, for when the election takes place,” Mohd Khairuddin said in a statement.

Asides from Amirudin Mohd Khairuddin as chairman and secretary respectively, the appointees include Borhan Aman Shah as deputy chairman, Hee Loy Sian as the first vice-chairman, R. Sivarasa as the second vice-chairman, and Rodziah Ismail as the third vice-chairman.

Similarly, Muhammad Izuan Ahmad Kasim has been appointed as Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) vice-chairman, Rozana Zainal Abidin as PKR Wanita vice-chairman, Elizabeth Wong as treasurer, and Halimey Abu Bakar as information chief.

Other appointments include Saifuddin Shafi Muhammad as managing secretary, Azmizam Zaman Huri as communications director, Mohd Yahya Mat Sahri as election operations director, Dr Yaakob Sapari as strategy director, and Juwairiya Zulkifli as ex-officio.

“Selangor PKR will expedite all efforts throughout the state, including by helping the people in facing the monsoon season expected at the end of the year,” he said.
