All flood relief centres in Melaka closed

MELAKA, Nov 2 — The last of the temporary flood relief centre (PPS) in Melaka was closed at 1pm today when flood victims at the Kampung Belimbing Community Hall in Alor Gajah returned home.

Melaka disaster management committee secretariat in a statement said five members of a family were sheltered at the PPS in Alor Gajah due to floods in Kampung Pulau and Kampung Belimbing, recently.

Since the situation had returned to normal, the flood victims had gone home, said the statement.
