SHAH ALAM, Dec 13 — Selangor residents who wish to start their own businesses have been advised to apply for the Zero To Hero financing scheme of up to RM10,000.
Yayasan Hijrah Selangor said the scheme can be applied at mikrokredit.selangor.gov.my, or by contacting a financing officer at any of Hijrah’s 19 branches.
“Hijrah Selangor through the Zero To Hero financing scheme offers special business packages for the people of Selangor who want to start a business.
“This scheme helps new entrepreneurs to apply continuous training, marketing and guidance with leading companies appointed throughout the financing period, in order to grow well and become a success,” it said on Facebook.
To qualify, applicants must be:
- A Malaysian citizen.
- A resident of Selangor or living in Selangor for more than five years.
- Is a registered voter in Selangor.
- Aged between 18 to 65 years.
- Has an interest and passion for business.
- Is willing to be guided.
A total of 555,834 entrepreneurs have received benefits through seven business financing schemes worth RM710 million, since its establishment in 2015.
In addition to the Zero To Hero Scheme, Hijrah also offers the i-Business, i-Agro, Niaga Darul Ehsan, Go Digital, i-Lestari and i-Bermusim schemes.
