HULU SELANGOR, Dec 4 — The Jelajah Selangor Penyayang (JSP) roadshow, which began in June, has completed its round across all districts in the state.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the roadshow that kickstarted in Taman Kosas Hulu Langat introduced the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP) initiatives to empower the people towards a more prosperous life.

“We have visited all nine districts to introduce ISP. We also provide various booths related to relevant agencies in addition to several exciting activities for the public.

“Based on our observation, especially in the final series of the programme, more people are beginning to pay more attention to the Free Water Scheme and Selangor Saring incentives,” he said when delivering his speech at the JSP Hulu Selangor, here today.

Previously, the programme was held in Sepang, Stadium Sungai Besar in Sabak Bernam and Stadium Sultan Sulaiman in Klang.

Meanwhile, Amirudin said the state government constantly monitors the ISP programme to ensure its effectiveness is timely with people’s needs.

“Every year, we spend some RM600 million on the people’s welfare. For the ISP programme, we made some improvements and combined several schemes to ensure it remains relevant.

“Even though Selangor prioritises the economic sector and heavily promotes investments in the state, we also take good care of the people. We will ensure that no one is left behind,” he said.
