HULU SELANGOR, Dec 4 — The state government will be organising a new roadshow programme to promote various initiatives included in the 2023 Selangor Budget, from January until June next year.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the roadshow, which will be done on a smaller scale compared to the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang programme (JSP), will visit all state constituencies.

“This roadshow would involve all 56 constituencies, however we have yet to decide to either do it on a parliamentary level or constituency level.

“The programme will be promoting the state government’s offer in the 2023 budget including benefits for women and several other new incentives,” he said at a press conference after launching the JSP roadshow in Hulu Selangor, here today.

On November 25, Amirudin said the state government has allocated RM2.45 billion for the 2023 Selangor Budget as preparations to face the economic slowdown next year.

He said some RM1.25 billion or 51 per cent had been allocated for operating expenditures while the remaining RM1.2 billion for developments.
