By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, Jan 30 — Yayasan Hijrah Selangor is expecting to collect an estimated RM82 million in loan repayments for this year, via seven financing schemes.

Its promotions manager Mohd Ridhwan Asmara said the collection encompasses the loans from the i-Bisnes, Zero to Hero, Niaga Darul Ehsan (NaDI), Go Digital, i-Lestari, i-Agro, and i-Bermusim schemes.

“This year we will focus on increasing the collection of loan repayments and quality financing, as entrepreneurs require capital to do business,” he said when contacted today.

Mohd Ridhwan added the refund and win campaign will also be carried out from January 1 to December 18, as part of Hijrah Selangor’s efforts in achieving the RM82 million target as well as a continuation of its credit recovery campaign.

He said entrepreneurs who actively make refunds are automatically eligible to participate in the campaign and stand a chance at winning a mystery prize of over RM20,000.

“We are offering this funding recovery plan specifically for those who face repayment issues. With this, they can at least can repay their loan according to their abilities.

“Staff incentives are also being offered to enhance their motivation in making collections,” Mohd Ridhwan said.

Approximately 39,492 entrepreneurs are actively repaying their loans so far.

Previously, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the Hijrah schemes are continuously being improved, which includes a RM130 million allocation for financing offers to entrepreneurs.
