Bukit Melawati Lebarun 2023 encourages residents to lead healthy lifestyles

SHAH ALAM, Feb 26 — As part of its effort to encourage healthy living, the Bukit Melawati state constituency will organise the Bukit Melawati Lebarun 2023 programme, in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Its special officer Muhammad Farhan Zulkifli said the event is scheduled to take place on May 6, from 6.30am onwards with a target of 1,000 participants.

Bukit Melawati Lebarun 2023 will consist of two runs, namely five km and 10km.

“The five km run is open to all age groups. while 10 km is divided into two categories which are open to men and women between the ages of 16 to 39.

“Similarly the open category for male veterans and the open category for female veterans is for those aged 40 and above,” he told SelangorKini when contacted.

Muhammad Farhan added the participation price for Bukit Melawati Lebarun 2023 will be on special offer for the first 1,000 entries in both categories.

“For the 10km category, it is a special price of RM49 compared to the original price of RM69, while five km is RM29 compared to the original price of RM49.

“We will also prepare cash prizes for the 10km category, the first place winner will take home RM700, followed by RM500 for second, RM300 for third, RM200 for fourth, and RM100 for fifth,” he said.

There will also be a lucky draw for the participants, with up to RM10,000 in prizes, including a motorcycle.
