KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 15 — Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa has advised public health sector workers not to be involved in any unannounced strikes as they will not help solve any problems.
In a video clip on TikTok, she urged them to meet her face-to-face to find proper solutions.
“I actually understand very well the problem. My background is that of a doctor, that is why I understand and I am determined to solve this problem, if possible, today.
“But we must understand that it will take me some time to understand the issues deeper so that the best solution can be found,” Dr Zaliha said after hearing about a possible unannounced strike by certain parties.
She also asked health workers to think more maturely.
“InsyaAllah, we can meet face-to-face and eventually solve this problem together and everyone will benefit from it,” Dr Zaliha said.
