Appreciate World Water Day celebration in effort to protect water resources — PM

KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 — World Water Day celebration must be appreciated and valued in an effort to ensure that water resources are protected and utilised as best as possible, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He wished Happy World Water Day 2023 through a post on Facebook today.

“Our togetherness is important so that efforts to preserve water resources can be carried out comprehensively for the future of the next generations,” Anwar said.

He added the United Nations declared March 22 as World Water Day more than three decades ago.

This year’s World Water Day celebration is themed Accelerating Change.
