SHAH ALAM, April 24 — The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj is prepared to take part in the Jelajah Kita Selangor Aidilfitri programme organised by the state government in Klang on April 30.
The event, which includes a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House and Rewang Sekampung at the Taman Sri Kerayong field, will also be attended by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and state leaders.
The programme will run over the course of three consecutive days every week during the month of Syawal, starting on April 28 at the morning market site in Pekan Salak, Sepang.
Jelajah Kita Selangor Aidilfitri, which will travel to every district in Selangor, will then be held at the public park in Hulu Bernam, Hulu Selangor, on April 29.
On May 5, it will take place at Tapak Agora Night Market in Taman Sri Nanding, Hulu Langat, followed by the Sungai Buloh night market site in Petaling on May 6, and in Taman Perwira Sijangkang in Kuala Langat on May 7.
On May 12, the programme will take place at Dataran Tanah Lesen in Parit Baru, Sabak Bernam, then on May 13 at the Bukit Badong public field in Kuala Selangor, and finally on May 14 at Uptown Sri Gombak, where Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is also slated to attend.
