Sultan Sharafuddin officiates mosque, breaks fast with Kuala Langat residents

KUALA LANGAT, April 4 — The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj presided over a fast-breaking meal with the people of Kuala Langat, at Masjid Ar-Rahmah in RTB Bukit Changgang yesterday evening.

His Royal Highness was accompanied to the event by the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah.

The Sultan also formally officiated Masjid Ar-Rahmah, which began operating on December 5, 2020, and is able to serve up to 3,000 congregants at any one time.

Both Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Amir performed the Maghrib, Isyak, and Taraweeh prayers with members of the asnaf category and Kuala Langat residents, at the mosque.

Both the prayers and fast-breaking meal were attended by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and state executive councillor for Islamic Religious Affairs Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni.
