SHAH ALAM, May 20 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari graced three Hari Raya Aidilfitri open houses in the Gombak parliamentary constituency with his presence, earlier today.
Around 12.40pm, he visited the open house at the residence of Kampung Sungai Tua Baharu chief Zulkifli Hamzah.
The Sungai Tua state assemblyman cum Gombak MP spent some 40 minutes socialising and dining with over 100 guests including 25 mualaf in a ceremony jointly organised by the Sungai Tua branch of the Malaysian Muslim Welfare Organisation (Perkim), the Sungai Tua Baharu Village Community Management Council (MPKK), and Koperasi Lestari Sungai Tua Berhad.
During the event, Amirudin also donated a wheelchair and cash to mualaf recipient Abdul Rahman Parsad Abdullah, who was paralyzed due to an accident.
Following this, the Menteri Besar attended the Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) AU1C open house in Taman Keramat at 1.40pm, where he mingled and dined with over 100 guests.
Later at 2.10pm, he went to an open house organised by Pusaka Hanafi Malaysia and Yayasan Ustaz Hanafi Ahmad, at the Malaysian National Film Development Corporation (Finas) in Hulu Klang, where over 1,000 guests including martial arts experts from across the country attended.
Accompanied by Persekutuan Seni Silat Cekak Pusaka Hanafi Malaysia president Mohd Radzi Hanafi, Amirudin spent half an hour chatting with guests.
The open house was also enlivened by actress Amyra Rosli and her husband Amar Baharin, together with their children.
