Public infrastructure upgrade projects in Kuang to be finished by this month

By Azian Aziz

SHAH ALAM, July 27 — Eight public facility upgrading projects in the Kuang state constituency at a cost of RM400,000 will be completed by the end of this month.

Its coordinator Salasiah Disa said these projects include four fields, three suraus, and one drain. The projects began in mid-June and are scheduled to be completed by the end of the month.

“The four fields include the one at SK Bandar Tasik Puteri, the public field at Greenvalley Park, the playground at Kampung Permata, and the futsal field at Kampung Permata.

“As for the surau repairs, they involve Surau Al-Furqan Blok 28 BTS, Surau Al-Mardiah Desa Kundang, and Surau Baitul Ibadah Blok E in Kampung Melayu Sri Kundang.

“We also upgraded the drainage in Lorong E13 Kampung Melayu Sri Kundang. All these projects are funded by Projek Selangor Penyayang (PSP),” she told SelangorKini yesterday.

During the tabling of the 2023 Selangor Budget on November 25 last year, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said RM28 million would be allocated to PSP so as to boost and stimulate the local economy by providing small-scale projects for the benefit of residents.

Priority will be given to projects that involve the maintenance and upgrading of infrastructure and public facilities, including those that do not have annual maintenance allocations.
