Selangor Zakat donates RM850,000 to help 25 orphanages run by YIDE

SHAH ALAM, AUGUST 16: Yayasan Islam Darul Ehsan (YIDE) received a donation of RM850,000 to help it manage the 25 orphanages that it runs in the state.

Its General Manager Nur Mohd Razali Abdullah said the contribution from the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) enabled him to pay the utility costs and also the operation of the house.

“YIDE believes that the donation received will ease the financial burden of the Foundation and help with managing daily operating costs of the charity home,” Nur Mohd Razali said on Facebook yesterday.

Earlier, he had received a mock cheque from Selangor Zakat Board representative Zainuddin Johari, the cheque presentation was witnessed by Mahabbah YIDE icon Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid.
