KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 — Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is in good health after undergoing a surgery on Thursday, according to his daughter Datuk Nurul Hidayah.
She also expressed gratitude to all for their concern and prayers for her father’s recovery.
“Alhamdulillah, abah (my father) is well after undergoing a surgical procedure on Thursday, which was supposed to be done earlier but it got delayed due to time constraints and a packed schedule.
“For us as a family, this is the best time for us to be together, to be a source of encouragement for him to recover and be healthy so that he can continue serving the country,” she said in a post on Instagram today.
Nurul Hidayah said Ahmad Zahid, who is also Rural and Regional Development Minister, has a high fighting spirit.
“May Allah reward his sacrifices and service to religion, society and the country,” she said.
Meanwhile, she advised the people not to share unverified news.
