Israeli army opens fire on two ambulances in Gaza strip

ISTANBUL/AMMAN (Jordan), Dec 4 — The Israeli army fired upon two ambulances in the blockaded Gaza Strip, resulting in three people being wounded on late on Sunday.

The Palestine Red Crescent in a statement said that the incident occurred in the Faluja area in northern Gaza, with two paramedics from their organisation and a third person sustaining injuries, Anadolu Agency reported citing the statement.

Additionally, the Israeli army bombed a house in the Gaza Strip owned by a Jordanian family on the same day. The Jordanian Foreign Ministry confirmed one fatality among its citizens, while another individual was seriously wounded and subsequently transported to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza.

Following the declaration of an end to a week-long humanitarian pause, the Israeli army resumed bombing the Gaza Strip early on Friday.

Since then, the Gaza Health Ministry has reported at least 509 Palestinians killed and 1,316 injured in Israeli airstrikes.
