New EPF CEO will be announced in due course

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 — The new chief executive officer (CEO) of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will be announced in due course after the appointment of Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan as Finance Minister II, effective today.

In a statement today, it said Amir played a pivotal role in the fund’s growth and success throughout his tenure as CEO.

His key achievements include steering the EPF through various economic cycles and challenges and consistently achieving positive growth in investment income.

“The EPF board, management, and employees congratulate Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah for the appointment as Finance Minister II and are confident his leadership will contribute significantly to the nation’s economic development,” EPF said.
