SHAH ALAM, March 28 — The Pandamaran state constituency’s community service centre presented RM32,000 to four mosques and ten suraus for activities during the ongoing Ramadan fasting month.

State assemblyman Leong Tuck Chee said in addition to contributions to Islamic institutions, a bubur lambuk distribution programme was also organised for the Village Community Management Councils (MPKK) of Telok Gadong, Sungai Udang, Kampung Raja Uda, and Kampung Baru Pandamaran.

“The service centre also distributed 200 food baskets at Pangsapuri Pandamaran and Pangsapuri Sri Angkasa in collaboration with the Sunway Group.

“The bubur lambuk-making programme, in collaboration with the Klang Parliamentary constituency, successfully fostered a spirit of unity as it was also attended by a multi-ethnic community,” he told SelangorKini.

In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations next month, Leong said 500 Jom Shopping vouchers worth RM200 each will be given to recipients at the Giant Bukit Tinggi supermarket on Sunday (March 31).

“May this state government initiative enable eligible recipients to purchase festive necessities, thereby alleviating their burdens,” he said.
