Shah Alam council awards 119 staff for their work performance

SHAH ALAM, March 8 — Some 119 staff members of the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA) received work performance awards at the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (APC) 2023 event on Thursday night.

Held at the MBSA Convention Centre here, the event awarded all winners with RM1,000 in cash and BSN premium savings certificates worth RM400.

Another 19 staff members received the Anugerah Khas Perkhidmatan and were awarded RM400 in cash and a certificate.

The event was attended by Selangor State Secretary Dato’ Haris Kassim and Shah Alam mayor Cheremi Tarman.

Haris congratulated the winners and said he hopes their achievements will strengthen their resolve to give their best in the future.

“Don’t be easily contented with our achievements. We must keep working hard to provide the people with the best services,” he told them during his speech.

“Although the issues may seem small, like the flooding problems at Sri Muda or other low-cost flats, we must give our highest commitment and work as a team,” he said.
