Keadilan denies diverting state royalties into party’s accounts, to lodge reports

KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan) information chief Fahmi Fadzil denied an allegation that billions of ringgit in royalty funds for Kelantan and Terengganu were deposited into the party’s accounts.

“There are individuals who uploaded fake and defamatory posts which are very disgusting. Keadilan discloses its accounts every time a congress is held, and these account are audited by certified auditors.

“Never has such an amount as alleged been deposited into Keadilan’s accounts,” he said in a Facebook post today.

The communications minister said he has directed for a police report and complaint to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to be immediately filed against the individuals spreading the malicious allegation.

The allegation emerged on a public Facebook group called ‘Jabatan Netizen Negara (Official)’ yesterday.
